The Guarguera area is one of the most uninhabited and little known parts of Huesca, and Gésera is one of the many hamlets dotted throughout the zone. It is the start and end of this fantastic trail, along which you will see fascinating sites such as San Esteban, Lasaosa and the Ibirque dolmen. It is well worth making a small detour to visit Ibirque village itself. Gesera is an outstanding trail, which owing to the nature of the path that comprises most of the route, has clear technical challenges. Only the fittest cyclists will be able to complete the first section without putting their foot to the ground, although it is also possible to ride from Gésera to Lasaosa on a tarmac track. Otherwise, the climb by track is easy, and the small increase in height near the end of the ascent gives rise to one of the best downhill runs in Espacio BTT.
START: Gésera.
